My advice, wait until you have many more battles before you invest in a tier VIII premium. NC has more health and slightly better accuracy while Alabama is more maneuverable and has better torpedo protection.
She has the same nine 406mm guns (Flandre has 380mm) that can overmatch 27mm plating. TLDR (but seriously, read it form your own opinion): Flandre is pretty “plain” in comparison to the other French options at tier VIII: she’s a down-tiered Alsace with 3/4 the firepower and none of the consumables that define high tier French BBs.Īlabama is a much older ship and plays much like NC in the tech tree.
